Xenical is a diet pill designed for individuals who want to lose weight. Unlike other diet pills, Xenical is not an appetite suppressant. Xenical works in an individual’s digestive tract to block fat from being absorbed. Individuals eat a reduced calorie diet with no more than thirty percent of calories coming from fat. Individuals must follow the proper medication schedule, monitor their food intake, take a multivitamin everyday, and set achievable goals for weight loss. Taking Xenical along with following a healthy diet has shown to decrease total and LDL cholesterol, improve ratio of good to bad cholesterol, reduce blood pressure, reduce levels of insulin, and reduce or delay the risk of type two diabetes. Individuals should start to see results in about two weeks, if individuals do not they should speak with their doctor. Take Xenical at a meal where fat is present, or three times a day. Take at the meal or up to an hour later. If no fat is present at the meal, or a meal is skipped, skip that dose of Xenical. An individual should talk with their doctor before starting on Xenical.
Diet pills are one way an individual can choose to lose weight. Each individual should talk with their doctor before starting or considering any diet pill.
